Art in Komuns is hosting a fundraiser to benefit ArtCares for Kids on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The event will be held at Venture Hive in downtown Miami.

Art in Komuns is a hands-on event where families move at their own pace through interactive spaces allowing parents and children to collaborate in different art projects.

Guests will be able to paint their own canvas under the guidance of professional artists, color on a giant mural, make 3D art with recycled materials, draw with charcoal, decorate a gingerbread Miami Skyline, watch a puppet play, see a cartoonist demonstration and enjoy a professional-quality artwork installation at children’s eye level or about 36″ high among other activities.

A percentage of the event’s proceeds will go to ArtCares for Kids, a Miami-based nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers who serve children in medical settings dealing with psychological, emotional and physical challenges.
